Grant still on board 'Bridget Jones..' sequel

Dallas Sun (IANS) Saturday 4th February, 2012

Contrary to the reports, actor Hugh Grant is still signed on for the third instalment of "Bridget Jones Dairy" movie, confirm movie bosses.

Rumours were abuzz that the actor, who plays charming troublemaker Daniel Cleaver, had dropped out of the forthcoming instalment titled "Bridget Jones' Baby". However, the movie bosses have denied this.

"Reports that Hugh Grant has exited Bridget Jones's Baby are untrue," dailystar.co.uk quoted Working Title chairman Tim Bevan as saying.

Bevan also admits production has been delayed as writers continue to develop the script.

"We are still working on the script, hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned," he said.
