Dallas Sun (IANS) Saturday 4th February, 2012

A Pakistani firm is planning to set up a $600 million oil refinery in southwestern part of the country, Dawn reported Saturday.

The plant will come up in the coastal area of Gaddani in Balochistan province, Amir Abbasi, chief executive of the country's Biko Oil and Petroleum Group, said.

During his meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani Friday, Abbasi stressed the need to build road infrastructure so that the province can attract more investment.

Abbasi said his group would provide import and export facility of cooking oil at Gaddani.
